Through a partnership with AIDT, The Chamber offers periodic training to members in Leadership Skills. The mission of AIDT is to provide quality workforce development for Alabama's new and expanding businesses, and to expand the opportunities of it's citizens through the jobs these businesses create. AIDT encourages economic development through job-specific training. Training services are offered in many areas to new and expanding businesses throughout the State.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS 1
In this two-day training session you will be learning how to develop your leadership skills. Some of the topics of discussion will be: Leading the Human Resource, Leader Responsibilities, Improving Work Relationships, Communication, Motivation, Time Management, Stress Management, Performance Appraisals, Conflict Management and many other topics relating to leadership skills.

In this two-day training session you will be learning how to develop your leadership skills. Some of the topics of discussion will be: Leading the Human Resource, Leader Responsibilities, Improving Work Relationships, Communication, Motivation, Time Management, Stress Management, Performance Appraisals, Conflict Management and many other topics relating to leadership skills.

In this two-day training session you will be learning how to develop your leadership skills. Some of the topics of discussion will be: Leading the Human Resource, Leader Responsibilities, Improving Work Relationships, Communication, Motivation, Time Management, Stress Management, Performance Appraisals, Conflict Management and many other topics relating to leadership skills.
A nominal fee is charged to cover the cost of lunch that is provided for each day. Training and all materials are provided at no charge. Upon completion, students are provided a skills certificate that is recognized by the state of Alabama and many employers.
NOTE: You must have completed Leadership Skills 1 Training before taking Leadership Skills 2, and Leadership Skills 1 and 2 before taking Leadership Skills 3.
