My name is Katie Maples, and I am a REALTOR® of 10 years and top producer at Impact Realty in Gadsden. I am thrilled to be participating in this year's Leadership Etowah program, which offers a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community I deeply cherish.
I was born and raised in Glencoe, Alabama, and graduated from Glencoe High School in 2006. During my time there, I was actively involved in extracurricular activities such as volleyball and basketball. I was honored to be selected as Homecoming Queen, Senior Class Favorite, Class Parliamentarian, and Senior Notable for being Genuine. These experiences instilled in me a love for teamwork and leadership that continues to guide me today.
After graduating from Jacksonville State University in 2011, I embarked on a fulfilling career in real estate with a focus on new construction. Helping families find their "Home Sweet Home" is more than a job for me; it is truly my calling. Over the past three years, I have been Impact Realty’s top producer and consistently ranked in the top five of the entire REALTOR® Association. I take pride in providing exceptional service and making a meaningful difference in the lives of my clients.
Outside of my professional achievements, my most treasured role is being a mom to my two wonderful children, John Marshall (3) and Sarah Kate (1). John Marshall, a member of the Lucky Few, has inspired me to become an advocate for inclusion and awareness. Through my involvement with organizations like Down Syndrome Alabama, I am committed to ensuring that every child is seen, valued, and included, regardless of what science may label as a disability.
In addition to my advocacy work, I am honored to serve as President-Elect of the Family Success Center Board, contribute to United Way’s Girlfriend Gala, and lead as President of the Gadsden Service Guild. These roles allow me to give back to the community and support initiatives that create positive change in Etowah County.
Etowah County and its incredible people hold a special place in my heart. I am excited to deepen my connection with this vibrant community through Leadership Etowah and continue to grow both personally and professionally. From my career achievements to my community involvement, I am grateful for the journey that has brought me here and look forward to what lies ahead.
