Traci Pondick

RSVP of Etowah County (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program)

Traci was born and raised in Etowah County, and despite a short stint living in Birmingham to attend UAB she has always lived in Gadsden or Rainbow City.  Traci is married to Marc Pondick, together they own Sutton Bridge Full Service Gas Station & Mini Storage.  They are parents to a dog (Gigi) and two cats (Lucky & Darryl).

Traci worked at Sears for 20 years before joining the nonprofit world at RSVP.  She began as the Administrative Assistant in January, 2006 and became the Director in 2009.  During that time, Traci has worked with and learned about many of our local agencies and organizations, and also completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resources at Jacksonville State University.  Mrs. Pondick has served on many local Boards, including Etowah Historical Society, Council on Aging, MANNA, Etowah County VOAD and Habitat for Humanity.  Her goal in life is to see all nonprofits staffed with as many useful volunteers as they need and to see anyone who wishes to volunteer find a place to volunteer where they are happy.
