Maryann Gendron is the Human Resources Manager for Blastcrete Equipment, LLC, where she oversees payroll, benefits administration, and day-to-day employee support across two Calhoun County plants and one in Etowah County. Known for her practical, employee-first approach, Maryann focuses on making HR processes clear, organized, and approachable as the company continues to grow.
An Anniston native, Maryann left home to attend The University of Alabama, earning a degree in Apparel and Textiles. She spent the early part of her career in retail product development in several major markets, gaining firsthand experience in fast-paced, detail-driven environments. In 2009, she returned to Anniston and joined F&M Bank, where she began in customer service and later built the bank’s mortgage division from the ground up. That blend of operational rigor, compliance knowledge, and client service now anchors her work in human resources.
Maryann and her husband, Steve, have two children, Hank (9) and Sarah (4). Outside of work, life revolves around school activities, youth sports, and keeping up with the daily logistics of a busy family—experience that reinforces her appreciation for clear communication, flexibility, and real-world problem solving
