After graduating high school in Pennsylvania, Jessa enlisted in the U.S. Navy. During that time she completed a BS in Human Resource Management. While in the Navy, she met her husband. As active duty military, her husband’s career took them to various duties stations on the east coast. During this time, as they started their family, she completed her licensed practical nurse certification and shortly thereafter, she finished school to be a registered nurse.
Jessa has worked in healthcare career for over 15 years. She has had various roles that have included bedside nurse, charge nurse, clinical coordinator, patient safety officer, director of nursing and the most recent, Chief Nursing Officer. Throughout her nursing career, she has dedicated herself to self improvement through continuing education and professional development. She also holds a BS in Nursing and a MS in Healthcare Services Administration.
Jessa and her husband have two teenage sons. They enjoy watching them play football and compete in Cross Country and Track and Field. They lead an active lifestyle and be can be found outdoors either at their son’s sporting events or on their property working on projects.
