I am a Distribution Engineer at Alabama Power in Gadsden. My professional career started with a co-op opportunity at Georgia Power while I was a student at Auburn University pursuing a mechanical engineering degree. After graduating in 2021, I worked as a Distribution Engineer in Columbus, Georgia, before moving to Northeast Alabama in April of 2023. In my current role, I enjoy assisting customers by providing unique solutions to help serve their new homes or businesses.
I thoroughly enjoy participating in various APSO serve events, and I am involved in LEAP (Linemen, Engineers, and Apprentice Programs), which exposes students to the energy industry and provides students with company and career opportunities.
Outside of work, I actively serve on an Outreach team with Church of the Highlands, and I love to travel. Hiking National Parks across the U.S. with my husband, Aaron, is one of my favorite things to do. Our goal is to visit all 63 National Parks!
I am excited to further enhance my leadership skills through this program and am so thankful for the opportunity.
