My name is Phillip Davis. I have been a lifelong resident of Etowah County, and I am honored to be a part of this year’s Leadership Etowah program. After graduation from Glencoe High School in 2006, I worked to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University (JSU) and my Master of Science in Nursing from University of Alabama Huntsville. I have worked as a registered nurse for the last 13 years (7 years in leadership roles). My primary area of work has occurred within Emergency Services with experiences in community medicine, academic medicine, and level one trauma. I am currently blessed to serve as the Director of Emergency Services for Riverview Regional Medical Center.
Outside of any professional achievements, it is my firm belief that my most rewarding title is that of husband and father. My primary place in this world is next to my wife (Madison Davis) and our 3 children (Rory, Gaines, and Grant). We live a very high pace and joyful lifestyle. I can honestly say we never experience a dull moment. We are active members within our church, Church of the Highlands. We believe our faith grounds us and guides us in the direction of being better servants to our family and our community. Madison and I plan to raise our children within the community of Glencoe and the surrounding areas, just as I was. We have always believed that Etowah County provides the greatest opportunity for our children’s safety, education, and future.
I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my personal and professional growth through the Leadership Etowah Program. I find joy in knowing the program will deepen our connection to our local and surrounding communities and allow me to identify ways to support initiatives of positive change for Etowah County
