Tony graduated from Selma High School in Selma, Alabama and began his employment with Alabama Power in 1996. He has held various roles at Alabama Power including Sales and Service Representative, Operations Assistant, Business Service Center Specialist, Customer Service Supervisor before being promoted to his current position as Business Office Manager in Eastern Division for Gadsden/Attalla.
He is a graduate of Faulkner University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
He has been involved in various organizations at APC and is active in his community.
He is past president of the Alabama Power Service Organization-Montgomery Chapter. He has also served as a counselor for the Birmingham Crisis Center, an Ambassador for the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, United Way Leadership Team, past president of Power Speakers, the Birmingham APC Chapter of Toastmasters International, and sponsored Powerful Communicators, the Montgomery Chapter of Toastmasters International at APC.
He was a 2011 graduate of the Alabama Power Leadership Program, 2013 recipient of the Patsy Topazi Leadership Award and a 2016 graduate of Leadership Etowah.
He currently serves as a member of the Gadsden Kiwanis Club, President- Board of Directors for Gadsden Commercial Development Authority, United Way of Etowah County Board of Directors, Big Brother-Big Brothers Big Sisters, Past President –Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Alabama and Past State Board President of Alabama Power Service Organization.
Tony is married to Kimberly. They have three sons.
