Jason Hendon has been employed by Alagasco since 2000. His current position is Area Manager of the Gadsden and East Lauderdale division. He is married to Melynda and they have three daughters Marissa (17), Hailey (15) and Kallie (8). Jason grew up in Centerpoint a suburb east of Birmingham and moved his family to Southside, Al in the summer of 2008.
Jason is active both professionally and civically. At Alagasco he has worked the majority of his career in Field Operations. From 2011-2012 he successfully helped implement a large technology project at Alagasco. One of his greatest professional achievements is being part of 10 successfully ratified union contract negotiations. Jason is also active in numerous civic endeavors. He has served on the United Way Emergency Food and Shelter Board, United Way Health Allocations Board, United Way Loaned Executive, MANNA Volunteer, Junior-Achievement, Vice-President of Girls Softball Association and as Sunday School Director.
Jason places a high priority on his family. He considers his greatest achievement to be the development of his children, which started when he became a teenage father.
