Tommy Lee
Originally from Tallapoosa County, Tommy Lee held various on-air and management positions in Radio and Television stations in Alabama and Mississippi before settling in the Gadsden area for most his forty-year broadcast career. Tommy currently serves as General Manager of WQSB, Power-107.5 and Mix-102.9 Radio providing information, entertainment and marketing services to nine counties in North East Alabama.
In addition to multiple terms on the Gadsden and Etowah County Chamber Board of Directors, Tommy Lee serves on the Executive Committee of the Alabama Broadcasters Association representing the local, state and federal issues and interest of Alabama’s 516 Radio and Television broadcast facilities. In 2011 he was named Broadcaster of The Year and inducted into the Alabama Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
Over the years, Tommy has served on many civic projects and committees including various volunteer positions within the Boy Scouts of America organization including serving as a member of the original board of directors for the Greater Alabama Council, the second largest Boy Scout Council in the US.
Tommy attends Church of The Highlands, is the father of two adult children, and now spends much of his free time diving, kayaking, hiking and backpacking the South East.
