Rusty is the President & CEO of R/C Restaurants LLC / Hamilton Family Restaurants, a locally Owned and Operated McDonald's Franchise.
Along with his wife, Content Hamilton, they own and operate all 6 of the local Etowah county McDonald's restaurants. They have proudly called Gadsden and Etowah county home for the past 18 years. They take pride in being locally owned and an active part of each community they operate in, partnering with schools, churches, organizations, and city departments. Both of their sons, Andrew & Dalton Hamilton, are partners in the family business.
Rusty has worked within the McDonald's business for 42 years, starting from the entry level and working through the ranks. He has held several board and business team positions through the years within the McDonald's field offices in both Atlanta and Nashville. His family is a proud supporter of the local Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham where 31 Etowah county families stayed there in 2024. He and his wife also owned and operated a Sears Dealer Store franchise from 1996-2000 in Talladega county where he also served on the North Talladega County Chamber Board.
Rusty is a member and deacon at Southside Baptist Church. He has three children and three grandchildren, all residents of Etowah county. In his spare time, he enjoys RV'ing, fishing , golfing, and spending time with his family.
