Karen Frost is the assistant to Mayor Joe Taylor in Rainbow City which involves everything from scheduling appointments, planning events, assisting in payroll, communicating with the public through digital sign and social media, communicating with all employees on certain announcements, and everything else that comes her way. Each day can be very different which keeps the job interesting. Karen enjoys serving the City of Rainbow City.
Karen has been employed by the city for over 5 years beginning with the previous administration. Before coming to this position she worked at Westbrook Christian School, Dr. Echeverri’s Office, and was a dental hygienist for 20 years.
Karen is a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church and involved with Life Groups, the Ladies Ministry and with Women on Missions.
Karen was born in Alabama moved to Illinois during middle school and stayed through college then returned to Southside and remains there today.
Karen has a son, Jonah, and a daughter, Ella, who are twins and are such a blessing to her life. They will be graduating high school with the class of 2025.
