Dale Owens currently serves as the Regional Vice President for the East Alabama region at Buffalo Rock Company, overseeing the Gadsden and Talladega franchises. With a passion for leadership, Owens focuses on cultivating customer relationships and nurturing his team of Employee-Partners.
Starting his career at an early age, Owens worked full-time during high school and continued into the workforce after graduation. Accumulating six years of experience at Winn Dixie, he joined Buffalo Rock in April of 2000. At the Gadsden franchise, Owens held various roles, including Rotating Account Manager, Delivery Merchandiser, and Area Development Coordinator. In 2006, he moved to the Talladega franchise, where he served as the Area Development Coordinator, Area Sales Manager, and eventually became the Franchise Sales Manager.
Relocating to the Huntsville franchise in 2014, Owens held the role of General Sales Manager before securing his current position as Regional Vice President for the East Alabama region in October 2022.
Throughout his extensive career, Owens' experiences have molded his skill set and leadership capabilities, enabling him to effectively guide his team. He takes pride in coaching his team in overall job performance and ensuring customer satisfaction. Owens also takes full advantage of the partnership between Buffalo Rock and the UAB Collat School of Business to continue his commitment to both his personal and professional growth through leadership training.
Outside of work, Dale and his wife, Jennifer, are approaching their 25th wedding anniversary. They have four children: Paige, Austin, Adyson, and Crimsyn, as well as three grandchildren: Nova, Greyson, and Oliva. In his down time, Dale enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, playing golf, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
