Meet Barry Alan Cherry, co-owner of Hokes Bluff Welding & Fab. Barry is a graduate of Litchfield High School, Class of 1979. Barry joined the United States Army in 1979 through 1983. He served his country stateside and in Europe. Upon his return, Barry worked for Culp Metals which began his career in the fabricating industry where he continues today at HBWF. Barry was inspired by his dad to pursue this career where they worked together from 1988-1996. After his dad’s passing, in 1997 Barry joined the Alabama Army National Guard where he serves as the heavy equipment instructor today. In 1999, Doug Thomas joined the fabricating business and the two continue to grow the company and now employ over 40 people. Barry’s hobbies consist of working their farm and five acre vineyard with his family.
